Shelby Country Club To Begin Friday Concert Series

SHELBY, OH - The Shelby Country Club is excited to announce the kick-off of their annual "Friday Nights at The Pavilion" summer concert series.

The event marks the beginning of the club’s 3rd season of the series.

The weekly event is free to attend and open to the public.

Hosted in the club’s grand outdoor pavilion, the event provides a relaxed atmosphere for area residents to socialize and enjoy talented local musicians.

The club’s restaurant, 1928 Grille, will be open for dining inside or in the pavilion area.

Additionally, a cash bar will be available at the pavilion.

A host of other local acts will take the stage in the weeks to come.

First opened in 1928, the Shelby Country Club is situated on more than 130 acres of gently rolling terrain with picturesque views.

Its meticulously-maintained, tree-lined fairways and precise greens offer a challenging golf experience.

The club’s family-friendly atmosphere offers a wide array of activities for the entire family including the junior golf program and tournaments, clubhouse events for major holidays and sporting events, flexible tee times, weekend music and entertainment, casual dining outdoors and indoors, as well as the swimming pool with snack bar.

    Debra Satz, the Maria Sutton Weeks Professor of Ethics in Society at Stanford University, will present “Distributing Schooling: The Place and Meaning of Equal Educational Opportunity" at the 12th Lindner Lecture in Ethics on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at The College of Wooster.
