Nine-Year-Old Saves Man Trapped Under Tractor

JACKSON TWP. - A nine-year-old boy came to his babysitter's rescue Friday after a tractor the man was driving rolled over and fell into a ditch, trapping him underneath.

Nine-year-old Kameron Massie said he came to the man's aid after he heard him yelling and immediately jumped into a nearby backhoe tractor, drove it over to the man, and used the backhoe to wedge the tractor off of the man's leg.

Utopia Pipeline workers were the first civilians to stop and help the boy, followed by Ashland County Sheriff's Office and Polk Fire Department.

Kameron's family is incredibly proud of him. The babysitter was taken to a nearby hospital but suffered only minor injuries.
