Cheryl Ann Small, 69, early in the morning on Thursday, December 7, 2017, she drew her last breath and the first snow began to fall.  She was surrounded by her close family and those that loved her.  Cheryl was born on January 16, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Ray and Betty Ernsberger.

Cheryl was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother.  She lived a full life with her four children making memories cooking, dancing, singing rock songs in the car, and her favorite, the beach.  Cheryl was an early riser to drink her coffee and watch the birds.  She lived to see four generations survived by her great grandson, who affectionately called her "Grandmama".  Her outgoing personality and laugh will be engraved in our minds until we see her again.  Cheryl will be dearly missed.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Kimberly (Brennan) Edwards, Ronald Kirk Jr., Brent Kirk, and Julie (Jessica Litchford) Kirk; four grandchildren, Jessica Hickman, Dante Kirk, Warren Kirk, and Payton Kirk; her only great-grandson, Kameron Fulson; two beloved sisters, Jan Price and Lori Bowie; two nieces, Angie and Michelle; and one nephew, Joey.  Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Ontario Christian Fellowship Church, 686 South Lexington Springmill Road.  The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Cheryl Small.
