Lady Rams Win 11th Straight

MADISON TOWNSHIP- The Madison girls soccer team won their 11th straight match by stopping Parma Heights Holy Name 3-1 at Madison on Wednesday evening.

Madison freshman Taylor Huff put the Rams up 1-0 at the 32:54 mark with a header into the back of the net.  Then at the 21:59 mark of the first half senior Tara Andrews scored putting Madison up 2-0.  

After a goal by Holy Name cut the deficit to 2-1,  Madison freshman Phyllis Stanfield kept the game out of reach with a goal at the 27:37 mark of the second half putting the Rams up 3-1 and that would be the final score.

With the win, Madison improves to 14-1 and will close out the regular season at home Saturday evening against 9-4-1 Hathaway Brown.  The Rams will open tournament play at home on Tuesday against Sandusky at 5 pm with the winner to play Mansfield Senior next Saturday at 5 pm.
